Melissa Ruiz, Director of Operations & Programming,(she/her/he/him) 

Melissa started working for Tools for Peace Summer Teen Camp in 2014 as a sports counselor. In 2018 Melissa officially became certified as a Tools for Peace mindfulness facilitator. She currently works with LAUSD’s Beyond the Bell as a Site Coordinator where she leads Tools for Peace workshops. She is now a facilitator at Tools for Peace Summer Teen Camp.
